FORMAT: The transmission starts with an Arabic musical interlude (sung by Oum Kalthoum) lasting about 6 minutes. Next the male announcer repeats a series of forty 3Fgroups for 3 mins 45 secs. This is followed by "Message, Message, Message" and the announcer sends a series of 4F groups. "Repeat, Repeat, Repeat" is then sent and the message is repeated. Finally, the announcer sends a 3F identifier and the group count before signing off with "End of Transmission".

This new station, spotted by Igor in Russia, appeared on 27 DEC 00 and broadcasts on 9450 kHz between 1245-1250 and 1345-1400 UTC. According to the endings rule this should be an Israeli transmission as it finishes with "End of Transmission". I am sticking my neck out slightly, but it sounds so much like the E15 "Mary Susan Adam" station that I have assigned a temporary Egyptian flag to the station, although it could be from a similar country in the region.

Interesting. Did you get a call-up/interval tune? The best I caught was a solid tone before the broadcast.
