Island of the Dead (PS3) Save-game corruption

So after night of killing those that are already dead I wanted to continue the chaos today.. I loaded my character only to find out the save had been.. Tadaaaa.. Corrupted.

I've had a lot of issues with the game, rollbacks, not saving, disappearing items, random deaths. But I hoped THIS known-issue would not happen to me.. Sadly no such thing.. At least my other characters where not effected.

happend to me about 5 times sell the game guys it aint worth it!! thats just my opinion tho..... the game makers are f**kin stupid mann they should have tested it or do a beta or something like that... this aint fair at all !!

HERE IS WHAT YOU DO:

RELOAD THE LAST CHECKPOINT EVERY TIME BEFORE QUITTING YOUR GAME. THIS WILL PROPERLY SAVE YOUR GAME AND PREVENT CORRUPTION. IT USED TO HAPPEN TO ME AND NOW, I PLAY IT EVERYDAY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.

Happened to me this morning, I was 44hrs in and at level 37, finished most of the side quests, had all but the purple skull dev mod, all gone. I was on chapter 14 getting ready to escort then Ope. I had to start chapter 14 over with a crowbar a machete and a medium med kit at level 29. I was in the lab able to do the side-quests that got me my best weapons back, but its not the same.
