@Atlexia I think listening to anything by Infected Mushroom is great without drugs. The drug users imply that they either need drugs to appreciate good music or this music is not good enough...shame they live in a fake world. Infected Mushroom's music is great in this dimension without chemicals!

I can't agree more. Infected Mushroom isn't like Tiesto or even Skrillex where you NEED to be high to feel that kind of vibe (for me, I mean). Infected touch me like no other music can when I'm completely sober. When I'm high though... I tend to trance big time. My friend first heard IM at a private rave and tranced for 3 and a half straight hours. We had to shake him if we needed to talk to him cuz he was unresponsive.

IM is the very definition of divine beauty and trance.

@IrishLincoln You don't get the point. What the people doing drugs mean is that their trip is becoming much more awesome when they listen to this music, not the music becoming better 'cause of the drugs. I love IM, sober and on drugs.

@IrishLincoln There is a line between using drugs for enjoyment and being addicted to a drug. I love IM's music sober and on drugs - they're different experiences.

In the same way that you pity those who use drugs, I pity those who are either too afraid to take them or choose not to because of their (falsely) bad reputation. There is a lot more to reality than the 5-sense perception. Drugs, used in moderation, open doors.

I think its interesting to consider that our normal, sober brains were crafted by natural selection to have particular characteristics useful for survival and reproduction in the African Savannah. There is no reason to suppose that this "natural" state of mind is the most conducive to love, appreciation of art, creativity, or any other desirable dimension of cognitive life. I think that drugs can truly enhance the human experience, not just alter or impair it.
