Real hot rods have metal bodies many say, here is an all steel 1936 Chevrolet Sedan. Motivated by a LT1 350ci V8 with Sanderson headers, backed up by a TH350 automatic transmission into a Ford 9" rear end with a 3.08 rear gear. The front rides on a Flaming River suspension with power front disc brakes with power steering. Inside is air conditioning, seat belts, tilt wheel, AM/FM/CD radio and supple leather interior. In the last two car shows it won best car in class and best interior. We can be reached at 704-598-2130 or e-mail us at sales@streetsideclassics.com
The first car I remember riding in was Dad's '36 Chevy 2-door sedan. It was our family car all through WWII when no new cars were being built and used cars for sale were very scarce. He finally found a used '41 Pontiac for sale in upstate NY and gave the Chevy to my Grand-dad who drove it for another few years. That brings back great memories of the era when AMERICAN cars ruled the American road and AMERICAN Armed Forces ruled the globe.
