Depends on what you mean by medically necessary, though.
If there's a chance a woman could die from the birth, than abortion should be okay.
But if she just doesn't want to have the kid, that's not a medically necessary procedure.

Ron Paula ideas are not radical, they only seem so to some for two reasons. 1) they are brainwashed into a way of thinking and living as if there is no other. 2) they seem radical because people aren't really looking at the surmounting problem, and their lack of appreciation and understanding of whats coming it gives the appearance that dr. Ron is "too radical".

Look at any medical procedure and it may well turn your stomach but no one really wants to have a late semester abortion but to deny a medically necessary procedure is not right- the decision is between the physician and the patient, not the physician, patient and the government.

@msburke1234 So partial birth and third trimester abortion is ok to you, have you ever read or seen how one is preformed. Your comment about women not being chattel is true, but neither is a child...
-
@jesskazen Look up partial birth abortion, it will turn your stomach, the fetus is very much alive, during this process...
-
what if the fetus is dead and they just take it out? is that what they mean by partial birth? The baby is already dead, I doubt anyone will just willy nilly choose to get an abortion in their 3rd trimester.
-
@msburke1234 You're assuming the baby isn't alive and that its not murder, we don't let women murder there babies after they are born and the argument is that the baby is alive and so it is murder.

@noneofyob1zz This is true, but alot of republicans and my stepmom for one. Believe he is way to radical to be president. I total disagree.
Ron Paul would have been the greatest pick for the presidency than all the other candidates. All the other candidates & the media single him out because He truly is a real conservative. He doesn't sugar coat anything & just tell it like it is. He is the people's President. Ron Paul for 2012.

I agree with Ron Paul on this one. It's a state's right to make abortion laws and I'm getting tired of people on both sides using the issue to form attacks on Federal canidates. In state races, go for it. Personally I think the best solution is to strictly limit how long a woman can wait to make the decision. It's a difficult choice to make but 6 to 8 weeks is plenty of time to figure it out.
