Wow, I adore Iris Dement and greatly have enjoyed John Prine and thought their version of this song was cute. But hearing this version made me realize how some of the really old school country music singers had some really good pipes.

No secret that country singers then and now still have the best voices around compared to some of the contemporary singers these days. Great to hear the old masters work like this. Thanks and keep up the great work, Meg!!

@idiotic76  Oh. I just read about Ferlin, and he was elected to the country music hall of fame in February. High time, I might add, considering the people who are much less worthy being put in there lately, largely due to the Nashville establishment's obsession with the "New Country" garbage during the past several years.
