Actually, there was nothing wrong with what LaPre was promoting here. But you can call the Guthy-Renker folks and research what companies they use. (Used to work for them many moons ago.) But what the f*ck was with his right eyebrow?

I remember staying up until 2:00 AM in the morning watching Don Lapre. He seemed like an enthusiastic person. To be honest I really learned some new and unique ways to market my business instead of the old school 3 foot rule methods of chasing friends and family. Regardless of what happened to him in the end. I know one thing for sure you won’t get rich working for someone else. RIP Don Lapre.

@ritter89 if it wasn't for Don Lapre I would have never discovered Direct Response marketing which is what his original "little classified ad" course that he was known for was about which was old news in the direct response arena but new to the masses...he was not perfect but he DID help a lot of people to realize the possibilities other then a job...again I ask what have you done, the answer most likely nothing.

@asmith73TCB I don't consider 47 counts of conspiracy, wire fraud, money laundering etc helping people or making peoples life better. He's an asshole and is better off dead. He cheated too many people out of their lifes savings and left them with nothing to live on with his bullshit. Fuck him. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Don was selling a business model what all the idiots didn't understand is that means your just running your own business just like any other, for some reason people though they would buy this and check would just start coming in the mail! People are stupid not because of Don but because of themselves! Best wishes Don!!
