I wonder why some people are so concerned with the pedal stroke, the gradient of the climb, so on? I'm a cyclist and I just appreciate the fact that somebody posted a beautiful video of this ride. It's difficult, to say the least to set this up, and it does a wonderful job inspiring others to quit yapping and start riding!

It doesn't matter the gradient of the hill - you just change gear. Pro cyclists don't lug high gears during a race (possibly during some training sessions). In a triple, a 7% hill is a piece of piss, but if the lowest gear is a 39/21 it's suddenly much more difficult.
