When a squirrel that small attaches itself to humans, it means that its too young to be away from its mother, and is in dire need of food and warmth. I wish people didnt think that the squirrel is attacking anyone, its in distress.

me too! i had accidental adoptions of them, one very, very young squirrel, a boy, fell off from his mom's nest one day i was walking. he immdediatley clung to me so sweetly, what a kid! i adopted him & took care of him for almost 3 months we were so happy together, he's so soft and small. it took me a lot of decision-making before i released him to be w/ his real fellows, so he could enjoy the forest like the others. it hurts a lot but he gotta enjoy that life.

me too! my young squirrel would climb up me like am a tree, i had so much fun! they're just so innocent, they make me laugh! i feel like a tall tree!

I probably would have stood there and laughed a little bit, too. One, because it's so unusal for a squirrel to climb a toddler. Two, because if the parent freaks out, the kid freaks out more, the squirrel gets scared, and bites the kid. Not a good situation all around. Great footage, by the way. :)
