Does anyone here listen to or have listened to "My Dying Bride"?

They are in the vein of the sound Paradise Lost had. That dark, gritty, doom metal sound. Both are great bands at any rate.

My Dying Bride is my favourite! Well, maybe Anathema is, but I like both more than Paradise Lost. I mean, Gothic is great, but I haven't been able to appreciate there albums after Draconian Times. And believe me, I've tried!

yes. I saw some of their first London gigs supporting Bolt Thrower back in the early 1990s.

Yeah I know about the two differences. I hate it when people call Nick's harsher vocals on Paradise Lost's new album growls, cause they really aren't. His harsh vocals on their new album sound less tired than here though.
