Father Dorian Llywelyn, S.J., who teaches Theology at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, leads us in a lively and richly-illustrated consideration of Ignatius. Ignatius is often seen as cold and calculating, but here we meet the real man whose passionate love for God helped re-energize a demoralized post-Reformation Catholic Church. Narrated by Richard Leonard, S.J.

  • I wonder if Ignatius of Loyola would like the way the Jesuit order turned out....he may have thought that the order was not founded by him, but founded by Pelagius...the grand heretic that denied the doctrine of original sin, and the teacher of works based salvation. Now today, we have pelagianism running practically unchecked throughout the Catholic Church...almost a total denial of the doctrines of grace.
