@TheTellTaleheart25 My dad bought me a 12 string acoustic guitar. Do you think I could take off the extra strings and then practice or would it sound messed up. And how do you take your finger off a string and move it to another on your fretting hand without making the string scratch or sometimes stick to my finger. Because when i move my finger off it sometimes sticks and plays the string. Any simple tips would help. Thanks so much for the previous advice! Is a pick or finger easier to use?

@TheKingpin2010 It's a schecter..they don't make this model anymore but you can find them from time to time on ebay ..really awesome guitar and thin neck.
