Mel Bridgman vs Stan Jonathan

As a Bruins fan we always loved Johnathan but Bridgeman was no slouch and would stand up for his linemates and swing it with the best of them. Although he doesn't need excuses, I believe Bridgeman's hand was giving him trouble during this time and hence the weak performance. But on the other hand, it's always nice to see a Flyer get his ass kicked!

Flyer announcers are holding back tears ... just break out the crying towels and start blubbering!

EPIC. Stan beats the crap out of 2 of the toughest Flyers in the course of 30 seconds.

Jonathan out muscled him, for sure

I love how Bridgman calmly seeked out Jonathan to take are of business. Two tough dudes.

Huh? There was no "ass kicking" here! It was basically a draw, with no clear vwinner. Jonathan got in a few shots in the end after the fall, but not much else. Let's not have our team jerseys bias our view of the fight too much!

SOLID DRAW, okay tussle.
Jonathan might landed better shots but hard to say.
Close tilt.
Dupont was the ultimate cheap-shot, hit-after-the-whistle fraud. An early version ot Claude Lemieux and Ulf Samuelson who was too much of a coward to stand and fight. Too bad Bridgeman had to step in on his behalf here, only to wind up taking it from Jonathan.

Good thing for Bridge that the linesmen jumped in as soon as Jonny dumped him on the ice, cause Jonanthan was starting to work him over pretty good.
