I was born in Manila, Philippines. When I was 5 yrs.old we moved to the US. Honestly, I wasn't aware of the "Ninoy-Cory" thing. However a couple of weeks ago my mom and dad started talking about how Ninoy Aquino was assassinated and Pres. Cory fought for our "FREEDOM". I didn't really understand how big it was in the Philippines, but when I saw that people were dying for what they believed in, then I realized that it was a big revolution, the PEOPLE POWER REVOLUTION. Last week when I was watching TFC I saw on the news that Pres. Cory passed away. I told my mom about it. She was very emotional. It looked like she just lost someone close to her heart. We are not related to Pres. Cory but I saw my mom crying while watching some video clippings on youtube. She said, she remembered that she was in High School when PEOPLE POWER happened. So, we decided to do this video to pay our last respect to Pres. Cory. Wherever you are right now, we would like to thank you for the FREEDOM you gave to us, to my generation and to the next generations. WE LOVE YOU PRES. CORY!!!

this is really good , specially coming from someone who's not exactly that much raised in the PI . yahknoo' , i understand about your mom, my mom was crying while watching the live funeral procession & the mass on tfc too . she said i won't understand what she was feeling caahs' i didn't go thru people power revolution , . but i have dont so much reading about pres. cory & sen. ninoy that iknoo' how much they mean to the filipino people . ty for posting this (:
