Bright eyes ALWAYS blows me away. I like the whole unified white look too. Its like an evangelical church band thing or something. I like things ironic.
I also dig the handcuffs substitution.

the hair's a mistake, i'll give you that, but people change.. He's still doing what he was meant to do. Myself, I'm happy he seems to feel a little less of the pain that his older stuff came out of. And what bearing does the white or the hair really have on any of it, as long as the music's still good? (it is, even if it's different)

@LushLife I don't think it's for the family show reason, I just assumed because having it censored would negate the impact of the lyrics anyway, and it just makes much more sense to rework them. The line is sort of dramatically placed and having the climax of it be silence just ruins it.

bowl of oranges is my favorite from the band.
when i first listened 2 the song, i was imagining the vid as well. i was thinking in the dark with 2 guys all alone somewhere. THAT is so not what i was expecting whatsoever.

he didn't say "fuck" because letterman is a family show, kinda. rather than just saying it, and getting them to beep it out.. he changed around the words so maybe an older audience would listen to the music knowing it wasn't full of cuss words. did that answer your question?
