This is a beautiful S. S. Stewart piccolo banjo, the Little Wonder model. It checked in to my shop to have a new head installed, and it's now back up & running.
Piccolo banjo should be tuned an octave above standard tuning, but I'm a little afraid to tune that high. RIght now it's about 5 frets above standard tuning, so a D tune on the banjo plays in G on the fiddle. Or, play the D fingering but down on the next lower set of strings.
Someone asked about the tune. It's "Rock the Cradle, Joe" with a couple of verses of "Folding Down the Sheets".
This might be my favorite video of yours, Mark. Which is saying something...
That banjo is sure a sweetheart.
