I was 12 on a week long field trip when this happened up in Mt. Misery. My teacher brought a little 12 inch TV so we could watch the final out. Greatest moment of my life.

I was 13 in 1980 when the Phillies won their first Series. In 2008, I was 41, and my son was 13 for this Series, and we jumped up and down, screamed, and hollered for half an hour after Lideg threw his final pitch. It was an awesome moment that I'll never forget, and I really hope I don't have to wait until I have a 13-year old grandson before we can see them win another!

@Jolly4jc hahhahha thats funny cuz when the phillies won in 1980 my dad was 12 and when they won in 08 i was 12!!!!!!
