Our 2011 racing pigeon team is let up for thier morning fly. The birds did great today, a full 45 minutes. Its not quite the hour and 45 from yesterday, but it was much warmer and humid today. We have a super group 25-30 tripping and around 20 late hatches still being settled.

  • pylon lines not ideal dude, do u have any trouble with them?

  • @evisulee1 You got that right, not ideal at all! But, I don't have a choice. In the 6 years of flying the birds from this loft, I have not had a bird hit the lines. The only issue is during the settling of the youngsters, they tend to like to perch/ land on the lines. That doesn't last very long though...One good thing is, they learn to fly & maneuver around the lines at an early age. I think that helps in teaching them to avoid them later on in their racing.
