There is good shelling on the beaches between Port St. Joe, Florida and the Tyndall Air Force base.
Nearby is the St Joseph Peninsula State Park. With miles of white sugar sand, this park has one of the top rated beaches in the United States. Sunbathing, snorkeling, and swimming are popular activities along the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joseph Bay. Canoeists and kayakers can see the high dunes and sand pine scrub. Over 240 species of birds have been sighted in the park.
I drove through that area once while making a delivery and wish I could have a week to camp and play around on that peninsula, it's very stupid though how they have the time zone change there because it would be smarter for that area to be under the same time as Panama City which is next door.

Hey Beandokus, I live in Howard Creek. :) Fish for sheepshead off the dock at the Frank Pate boat ramps, and bring in good cats, crabs and hermits at the ICW under the bridge past Arizona Chem.

I lived on Port St Joe and Mexico beaches years ago! Beautiful area! The water used to be crystal clear with a variety of blue highlights and sunsets were gorgeous! if you ever take a video of those, let me know! :)

Thanks for sharing. I grew up in the Florida Panhandle and spent the first half of my childhood on Tyndall AFB. The beaches are beautiful.
