A bombshell in court today as the prosecution rests its case. That was the significant word in the courtroom today as the final witness, Dr. Lekawa, chief of the trauma unit at UCI Hospital, spoke on the eventual cause of Kelly Thomas' death following the beating by officers of the Fullerton Police Department.

Leo gives his take as to whether the prosecution did its job and proved its case in the beating death of Kelly Thomas. What he thinks about it may surprise you. As a note, the Court has agreed that news cameras may be allowed in the courtroom for closing arguments and day of verdict. For the duration of the Kelly Thomas murder trial, Leo Terrell will be tweeting live from proceedings in the courtroom in Orange County, California. Leo is putting his legal expertise in action, analyzing the cases presented by the prosecution and defense teams.
