Everyone needs to know that the King James Version is the only version you ABSOLUTELY MUST READ!! Read the APOCRYPHA as well. In the orginal 1611 King James Version, the Apocrypa is in the Bible between the Old & New Testament. The Apocrypha is a collection of 14 books. It was in the Bible until 1928. It was taken out by the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church is talked about in the Bible as well, Revelation 17.

for the New testament stick to the authorized KJV, or google fbch for an audio bible KJV or google e sword for pc KJV bible, for old testament you can find translations of the Torah online.

NIV version =the publishing company, Zondervan, is owned by parent company, Harper Collins. Harper Collins publishes The Satanic Bible, The Joy of Gay Sex and the NIV Bible. Rupert Murdoch owns these companies. He also owns Newscorp, a huge propaganda machine.
It seems like a conflict of interest, spiritually, printing the Word of God as well as the Satanic Bible. They seem to be watering down the power of the Word and deceiving the readers with those translations.
