Television .Run away from it... Excellent video by Beth Fulton
The inspiration of this video comes from Todd Alcott's poem

"What as success for a piece of furniture" Coluche was telling us in a French comedy sketch about the medias in 1981.
Television is certainly one of the most widespread medium which has become a family member, one of these entities which has become a guru in hundreds of millions of homes.
Have you ever watched any social documentaries narrating the stories of the poorest people on this earth, you would often see a TV set .playing in the background. It is striking to notice that this object has become a symbol for wealth in the indigent countries. What a scam... Nowadays in developed countries, family gatherings have been reshaped as a straight line instead of facing each other round the kitchen table to share the contents of their working day because they are al watching TV all in one row.
It gives the illusion to feed your brain with reliable contents although it only intellectually circles your imprisoned judgment fed by the local or national propaganda. It's like an invisible omniscient supreme superior voice who would tell you on a daily basis to be weary of others, to be afraid of any other communities because they are the ones being aware of what's happening in the world and protect you and your family .Thanks god shouldn't we have a prayer for all of these tale tellers who are keeping us from being ourselves .
Through daily habits and extended repetition the TV set vomits all its garbage contents on your lounge carpet and every time we press the "on button», the bitter hidden process kicks in our brains for top end brain pollutions.
On top of that, television is just the best ski jump for advertisers to be part of your intimacy kicking hard with interruption marketing whenever your focus is high on a movie for example. What an ideal platform for them to transform us in just daily addicted consumers by pumping the volume and naming their brand in absolute pathetic adverts .
TV isolates people. under the illusion of one to one sessions when it fact it's only a one way dialogue making you a passive viewer in breaking your private intimacy and spoiling your free will.
You can't have any options to interact at all with this king object which is switched on everyday making a consumer slave .Don't even think, you have any kind of control over it by claiming to only watch it just a few times or imagining that you are a smart viewer selecting your programs because what repetition creates in our brain is habits, and this is the worst habit we have accepted in our modern lives.
"Television could perform a great service in mass education, but there's no indication its sponsors have anything like this on their minds. "
