Shiba Inu Sachi - Grooming 101: Nail Care

Some dogs, especially us Shiba Inus, hate being their nails cut. However, it is important to train your Shiba Inus so they let their care takers take care of their nails. Long nails can hurt not only others, but themselves. At glooming salons, dogs stand on the trimming table, but my care taker found this position most comfortable for both of us. I have my nails trimmed every week like this.

爪切りが嫌いな犬は特に柴犬に多いようですが、爪を定期的に切ることは非常に大切です。犬の爪の中央部には「クイック」と呼ばれる神経と血管が走っている部分があり、爪を­長く伸ばしたままにしておくと、そのクイックが段々伸びて来てしまい、短く切れなくなってしまうためです。爪切りに慣れていない犬は、最初は嫌がるはずですが、少しずつで­も慣らしていき、家で定期的に切れるようにトレーニングしておくといいと思います。

wow amazing. its so hard for us to do it so we take my shiba to the vet and he screams like hell...so sad but im scared to hurt him...
