@bmwfreq Well duh...what did you expect? Unless you're an authorized emergency vehicle, such as EMT, Law Enforcement, or Fire Department, you are breaking the law by displaying blue, purple, red, or green strobes on a non emergency vehicle.

They were; I had to change them to amber because of where I work. After this post was submitted, these lights were removed per a direct order based on local vehicle code violations. Bummer, huh?

WAit cant you explain what happend exactly? Where do you work or what do you do for a living and who gave you that order and why?

I'd give you more details, but I can't; I'd get in trouble. Lets just say, when it came down to it, I like my job far more than I liked the strobe mod. 8)

The LED strobe heads I installed in the rear view mirror are from a dual CODE3 LED strobe unit. It took me about 8 hours to do the install.
