This is a short experimental film I shot with the Nikon D3200. Not the most riveting of subject matter but a good project for timing and sound effects. I did not use any color correction, brightness or contrast settings. Shot at 1080p/30fps with an ISO of 400.
The original file rendered at 425mb and the upload file rendered at 119mb. Because of the compression used for uploading/streaming the video does not look as good as the original.
The video bit rate for the D3200 is around 22,000. When shooting higher than an ISO of 400 in low light the video does not look very good... lots of noise. I had a Canon 60d for a while and the video bit rate was 47,000. The video looked a lot better on the Canon.
The Nikon D3200 does much better when taking pictures. It's a phenomenal camera for the price.

Where did you get the sound effect from, and what editing program do you use?

If you click on the "Show more" text (description above) you can see where I got the audio from. I did the editing with Final Cut Express ($200) on a Mac Pro.

    Thanks for watching!

You will have to define "realtime zoom".

Zoom in or out while you are recording..

Maybe the question sounds stupid, but many cameras, block the funtion when you try to use the zoom.

You can zoom while recording if you are using a zoom lens. It's strictly manual though, not like the zoom rocker switch you would find on a traditional video camera. Dslr's are better for static shots (like my leaky faucet video). If you want to shoot great video… get a great video camera! On the flip side great video cameras don't take very good photographs.

If someone knows, the results are obvious. I like it very much.

You might want to consider the d5200 for a little bit more cash.
