Following the Letterman video The General Manager of KEYC-TV in Mankato is addressing the rumors about one of the station's anchors being intoxicated on TV .Annie Stensrud could be seen struggling to get her words out as she anchored the show.

An anonymous caller contacted the North Mankato Police Department on Wednesday morning to report an intoxicated person was leaving a Roe Crest Drive residence in a vehicle. A report describing the vehicle was put out to law enforcement officers in the area and the car was stopped by a Nicollet County sheriff's deputy on U.S. 14.
Annie Stensrud, 28, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated. She was taken to the Nicollet County Jail and later released, Nicollet County Sheriff Dave Lange said.
A video of Stensrud went viral on YouTube after she mumbled through her Dec. 4 evening broadcast on KEYC-TV. People speculated the weekend anchor was intoxicated because her words were slurred and mixed up and she appeared to be glassy-eyed.
David Letterman later used the video to introduce a top 10 list titled "Top 10 Signs Your Local News Team Is Drunk."
Officials with the CBS affiliate in Mankato later said Stensrud was having a bad reaction to medication she was taking for an unspecified illness.
Citing general manager Denny Wahlstrom, KEYC said on its website
Thursday that because the incident pertained to a personnel matter, "procedures need to be followed according to station policy, and that no further comment will be made at this time."
