Blood by The Middle East

The music video I created for Townsville band The Middle East as part of my Film and Television course. Thanks to Aidan, Maryanne, Angus and Timothy- my dedicated actors and actress.

Please don't ask questions like "why did they kill the grandma" etc. I made a lot of compromises due to a very strict timing schedule, so a lot of my original plans fell through. So yes, I'm aware it won't make much sense to a majority of you, and I'm sorry.

at the start, this whole video was supposed to be different, but we made so many compromises that it just doesn't make much sense anymore. so I guess it's just a visual clip now, without any meaning.

Surround those three, and they'd fight, and lollies would come out instead of blood. But everything fucked up completely, and now this video exists hahahah good lord.. I wish I could go back and re do it, but I only had three days to do it.

@DrewMediaIntl Well there were supposed to be more people in white, and the grandma wasn't supposed to have a stupid paper face.. Erm anyway, if I had more people I was going to have like, medical supplies with them, like drips, and tubes on their face, and things like that.. to show that they had cancer. And they were supposed to follow the trail of lollies, thinking that it was their nan, when really it was only someone dressed like her, to fool them. And the other people were going to ~

@DrewMediaIntl This was for my grade 12 ftv assignment, and we had QCS and assignments due, and I had to make a lot of compromises when it came to filming this, and it came out completely different to how I planned it to. It's written in the info section, but I don't think anyone reads that..

I love the song, but also found the video hard to understand. Was the killing of the grandma connecting with the killing of the goose that laid the golden egg; trying to get all of the candy only to find that it ended the stream of candy?
