That trip was about 3 miles out of Johns Pass, Fl. The grouper come in real close in the Fall. Just hit that spot the other day and they were thick. Any close to shore spots should be thick now. We were catching keeper grouper with spoons on a ledge just off the Redignton Beach pier while trolling for Macks and Kings this week.
