its not "grippen" its "Gripen"

That concept is not original, and is used by every extremely agile fighter in the world today. To be truely agile the aircraft has to be on the razor's edge of flight. Extremely stable aircraft are stable, but they can't dogfight.

The planes name is JAS 39 Gripen to be all correct in military terms. It's a multi-role fighter, and that's what makes it one of the best airplanes in this world.

@timyfin It's actually a very capable fighter once they had ironed out the computer glitches. I really like to see little players like Sweden making something this good.

crash near church? why the fuck is that relevant? its crashed in a heavily populated area in the middle of Stockholm; would it have been worse if it hit some churchgoers than random people on the street?
