I made a rolling thing out of legos, rubber bands, and a flashlight, and attached a very cheap camera to it so that I could film the inside of gopher tortoise burrows!

This is from me, whenever we walk within 10 feet of his hole the tortoise runs out hissing and spitting cussing in tortoise at us.

This video was actually made by my son. The tortoise lives in our backyard and he can leave any time he wants, he even has a tunnel he's dug under the fence for that purpose.

@AngryProductions Perhaps if you stopped being angry and used your brain for a few seconds, you'd have realized that this video could very well be the result of a person trying to discover if a burrow was occupied before filling it in.

Nice work - I think the fellow who discovered the Goliath Bird-Eater Tarantulas in South America in the last few years used a similar device - basically a child's toy car with a fibre-optic cable and a few LEDs attached. Certainly a better option than sticking your hand in a burrow to see if it's occupied.
