They think being darker makes them appear part of the working class. That apparently is a bad thing these days; It's total bullshit!

Do you mean they hate the sun because they dont want to get darker like some Asians feel? I know most Cambodian girls hate to be out in the sun for fearing of getting too brown which considered unattractive, and appear as uneducated country girls, which I think is pathetic!
