The thing about the joker in this movie is that he DIDNT plan anything. they said that in the movie, more than once. he did things as they happened...thats what was so great about it!

this is the greatest batman to date, i think Christian Bale is the greatest Batman ever, the plot was simple but never a dull moment, i didnt think Morgan Freeman suited the role as Lucieus because Morgan plays roles usually with more human spirit not with a bunch of gadgets, the film setting was excelent because it felt asif it was in the real world wheras other superhero films lack that, overall a 10/10.

I think there was a hint. when Fox show Wayne the new suit, Wayne asked "how will it do against dog?" Fox repiles, "It will do fine against cats." i think catwoman is coming.

Great review but I think your critiques of the movie are flawed.
- I am not too keen on the bike either but if a billionaire funds it then its both acceptable and believeable.
- I thought it was clear that The Joker knew convicts would be on the ships due to his corrupt allies in the police and ´friends´.
- The Joker was spontaneous - he went with the flow. Hence, his plan worked.
- Batman vs The Joker on the bike was key to showing Batman´s maturity. Nothing ridiculous at all in it
