I know. But, to their defense, John McKay was from USC, and he was familiar with Bell because he recruited him. Bell would have had a better career if it wasn't for the disease which started to slow him down and then kill him 25 years ago.

I remember Tony as a classmate in a public speaking class at the old YMHA. But the biggest football memory I have is the 1976 WVU game at Pitt Stadium. Tony runs out of the tunnel and then over near the WVU bench, raises his index finger as if to say, I'm #1 and you'll never catch me. What balls! WVU gets fired up but Dorsett ran all over them - he was unstoppable.
