Isn't the point of something like shabu shabu or nabe is that you can do it your own way? There is no right way or wrong way to do something like this.

This is simply not a shabu shabu anymore...the ingredients are different (noodles should not be Udon, but rather Ito Konnyaku or Kudzu-Kiri ; vegetables: not at all the brocoli, ...not at all chili ! Rather chinese cabbage, green onion, welsh onion, negi, kombu kelp...). Other videos ("cooking with a dog" exist on YouTube, watch them instead...
