also Transguild Courier can take the place of scrapbasket. Courier doesnt require a mana activation.
-
t0 Gemstone Caverns
t1 Forest
exile elvish spirit guide exile simian spirit guide
4 mana play natural order discard 1 play progenitus.
-
t1 Forest + Llanowar elf
t2 Forest (Eventualy a ramp spell of some sort)
t4 Forest, Natural Order your elf and get Progenitus, lol?
The combo in the video requires way more cards to go at the same speed, and with just regular landdropping, this requires 5 turns to go of, and is very unstable agains any sort of artifact or creature removal, since it all depends on Scapbasket? I don't get why you would go through this much trouble to play a progenitus?
-
Natural Order.
-
elvish spirit guide concordant crossroads, forest birds, orcish lumberjack, elves of deep shadow, simian spirit guide,Lord of Tresserhorn. nomomnom
-
Turn one, BoP
Turn 2, Show and Tell, FoW their FoW, play Prog
-
-
Here's an even better way to play progenitus, and it only requires one card:
hardcast Progenitus!
(disclaimer: may not be doabale turns 1-9)
-
ever heard of the card Natural Order? That is pretty much the best way to "cheat" a Prog into play
-
@vezok716 protection says it can't be targeted and can't be dealt damage, if it doesn't target or deal damage then yes
elvish piper, turn 2, -- Progenitus ;-;

bloom tender produce only 1 mana, not 2 or 3 just 1. read the rules
Alsnake 2 years ago
If you would read the rules, you would realize that bloom tender produces an amount of mana equal to the number of colors present among permanents you control. Last time I checked, Scrapbasket could become all five colors, thereby allowing each bloom tender to produce 5 mana!

no, no , no. you said: produces an amount of mana equal to the number of colors present among permanents you control
but //////
{T}: For each color among permanents you control, add *one* mana of that color to your mana pool.////
Bloom Tender won't add more than one mana of any particular color to your mana pool. At most, it will produce {W}{U}{B}{R}{G}.

Um...yeah...that's why there are TWO OF THEM... they each produce WUBRG, that's 5 times 2, that equals ten, and progenitus costs WWUUBBRRGG... I fail to see the problem here...
