@skunkifunkii that stinks about the land...here we can camp on state land (with a few minor restrictions) for 3 days at a time without a permit...and you could just move the tent a few feet every 3 days and stay as long as you want lol...usually not a big issue anyways in the deep woods where I like to go...not many people have the ambition to walk more than a few feet from their cars to go" camping" nowadays..

@skunkifunkii thanks for answering my question...where I live we have a lot of black bears, coyotes, mountain lions, moose...a lot of predators...but thankfully not many poisonous snakes!....but I never worry because I always have a gun with me in case I need it....I find that if you keep your food picked up, most animals are scared of you and would only come near you if their fear was overpowered by hunger...Iwe hang our food bag from a tree limb at night and i've never had a problem

@mulligan5474 ha no mate the biggest thing we got over here are foxes and they are nothing to worry about. the only thing you have to worry about are park rangers they are the only animal that could spoil a night out under the stars as you are not allowed to camp pretty much anywhere unless you have permission. an try an get permission off a big company like United Utility's who own 80% of the woodland in the north west of England. You cant so every time we go out camping we r trespassing.

I just came across your videos and i like your style! I am from the USA and enjoyed seeing the different gear that you have. A lot of people don't realize what an art it is to create a small, lightweight pack that will allow you maximum comfort/hygiene/safety while in the woods. You seem like someone I would actually enjoy going camping with. I have a question for you....I am wondering if you have many bears in the UK?

Very nice video Mike. Two thumbs up on the Starbucks VIA coffee, I like the Italian one, very good tasting stuff that VIA coffee. I see a whole lot of similarities between your kit and mine. Yeah, a natural fire is nice, but you just can't beat that Brunton torch.
You sure look happy in these latest videos matey. Good to see your smiling face again!!

@38MarcW
The sleeping bag is in the sub £200 mark down is far too expensive but can be worth the investment as it lasts longer
