Wildlife in and around Ann Arbor, MI, set to the climactic finale of The Great Gates of Kiev from 'Pictures at an Exhibition' by Mussorgsky (TSL is the secret hero of this story). This is Ravel's orchestration. The greatest, most rousing finale.
This video is part of a longer work.
Featuring;
* Copulating Mallards
* Red winged blackbords flocking, preparing to roost.
* Blue Heron, flying and fishing
* Muskrat icebreaking
* Common grackle attacking squirrel on birdfeeder, as well as displaying handsome plumage.
* Pair of house finches.
* Chipmunk gorged on birdseed.
* Chickadee colelcting nesting material.
* Eastern bluebird foraging
* Tufted Titmouse nutcracking
* Lightning
* bats
* Downy woodpecker
* Appearance by DuckCam at the very end.
Taken with a camcorder (Canon Elura 100) and tripod. Much of the footage is from my balcony.

Very impressive array of wildlife behavior! Your dedication to the art is evident in your images. It takes time, effort, and passion to get these shots -- and you definitely have all of these. Your work proves that you don't have to travel far and wide to find incredible creatures. There are many amazing animals just beyond our doorsteps, if we would only take the time to look. Great stuff! Keep it up!

I'm pleased. Theses puffy-headed lion-hearts, these chisel-toothed wrigglers, these dandy, swooping shards of vigour. These nibblers, leapers, thrippers and roarers. These are what I admire the most.
