  • You can hook up a dynamic mic to the microkorg from the mic input on the back of the synth. that uses the vocoder. Also there is a switch that changes the setting from condenser mic to dynamic. so you can use a normal functioning dynamic mic too for the vocoder

  • @Freedomcall82 Absolutely. Thanks for specifying. Cheers!

  • I hear alot of people dissing the mic on the vocodor. How much would i have to spend to upgrade to a better mic? or will a 30$ cheap one even be better?

  • @cub670 The mic is as good as the person using it. It's not the best mic, but it does serve it's purpose. The input is 1/8 inch and doesn't necessarily allow for an exceptional mic. We have used a transformer to adapt a dynamic hand held mic with an XLR to 1/8 inch with a good result.

  • I've been looking for a new keyboard for awhile. Currently stuck with a Yamaha PSR 420 from 1995. It's okay but there isn't much to it after 15 years. I want to either get this MicroKorg or the MicroKorg XL, but the XL is $500 on Amazon.com and this one is $400 with a bag and stand. Which do I go for?

  • @GruntofAction You should definitely go with the XL, we have it for less on our eBay store - if you search for Unique Squared + eBay in Google, you can search all of our active listings

  • this video looks like its from the 70's

    just saying :)

  • So happy, im getting this on saturday. but am I making the right decision? should I get this or the XL, I ask because I found a clearance that makes the XL 40 dollars cheaper than this one. Like I am trying to work myself up to a moog synthesizer and want to know which way to go

  • How do you create a simple saw lead? Im going to get one soon and while researching, I came across a video comparing the microkorg, to (at least I think) a minimoog, and they used a simple saw lead, gradually adding dual oscillators and such.

  • @fezzyness Yeah on Amazon it's list price is over $300

  • whats the biggest diffrence between the microkorg XL and this 1??

  • @master7080 150? dang i can't find anywhere with a price like that!

  • Bought one at my job for $150, love it

  • i want one i want one!!!!
