See ALL my videos: http://www.MeetTaylorMorris.com ~ This is a video about my daughter Taylor's experience with Autism and Aspergers Syndrome. At age 2, Taylor was diagnosed as being on the Autism spectrum and given little hope of having a happy, independent life. Now, at age 17, she is a top student, an athlete, and a creative artist. NOTE: The email that is posted at the end was for before we got a website. Please post your questions there now!

  • It just so happens that I have Aspergers too. To prove my statement, I say the following: I have difficulty with eye contact, strongly dislike changes in my environment, and the list could go on, but I only have so much room to say this. The good thing about being an Aspergian is the remarkable ability to do a task efficiently, and good attention to detail. Have you ever heard of a novel named "Look me in the Eye: My Life with Asperger's by John Elder Robison?

  • @twiggyguy I never have actually, thanks for commenting

  • I cant touch the inside of a sleeping bag material. theirs also a kidn of blanket that i cant touch eather. I was diagnosed with ASD, wehn i was 9, but had no ideah, that might be somthing other people deal with. I dont mind fleace, but the material inside a sleeping bag, or sometimes the meterial that heating blankets are made out of, or the blanket between the sheet, and comfertet. Its like nails on a chalkboard, if i touch it wiht my fingers, or toes.

  • Hi Robin, I was just diagnosed with Aspergers a month and a half ago. I am having a hard times coming to terms with this, and I am trying to convince myself that everything bad in my past was not my fault. I have always been slightly more attractive than average, and had a formidable intelligence; because of this my social disconnect was worsened. It is nice to know now why I am different. I think you're very pretty, I wish I could find a girl like you here in Washington...

  • @TheRobinRice Also, not all Aspies avoid eye contact. For instance I am one that stares.
