This guy is lying thru his teeth. TRY watchin Capitalism: A Love Story online right now. Theres not a link on the internet that works all removed for copyright infringment. I realise most all movies yet to be released that have showings online get removed at some time or other it just seems like he or his distribution co. are a lot more on top of it than others. PEACE!

People shouldn't be making music for money, people shouldn't be making movies for the sake of money.

Art can be an income, but its dominant factory is not money making it is an art and that is it. You enjoy to make the movie.

Copyrighting stuff like patterns, website material, intelligence and so on is a different story.

Going so far to fuck youtube up with copyright shit is just the government sucking its own dick.

Alot of people including the MPAA and RIAA and ofc Rupert Murdoch all think SHARING IS BAD AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!
These are the same groups of people that want a Totalitarian Thought Crime Prevention Police Force to chip everyone with RFID in order to control every aspect of their monopoly on society so that they can make record profits.

agree, those copyright terms are too long, 5 or 10 ys. should be sufficient.

Here's something else to think about - from an enviromental perspective what is the point of shipping millions of pieces of plastic arround the world when the internet is clearly the best means of information delivery? Also from seeing stuff on the web I have a much greater access to stuff that would be impossible to source otherwise (because of the blood clots of distribution deals/rights) I don't want to steal but I don't want top see harry potter either

BTW, here's something interesting to think about have you ever sene any research done on the power of indirect narcotic suggestion? Why do think that music and film seem to have such an hypnotic hold over the ingorant world populous in general.. Thriller was a cocaine album pure and simple

Human existance on this planet has always been changed out of recognition by technology. I'm afraid it's just a matter of time before the model of how people make money out of pretty much everything will have to change. I don't really have a point of view by the way.. but I agree with you're statement on donations - I don't think that will work. But how can people stop illegal downloading of material which as you say has no intrinsic value?

hehe, good question. No one knows because on one hand, we have people who download illegally and others who pay; on the other hand, we have SH who make software for free (but unfortunately receive a few donations) and others who ask a lot for a software. The best would be a compromise but i doubt that all will agree(just watch donation, most don't even pay $1 to who created the software which allow them to download they illegal software..and this is so ironic)...

I am afraid at a different time I was one of those people (who didn't pay donations) but this was largely due to the fact that I didn't trust myself with a credit card.. At the moment I am really struggling had to come to terms with economic truth - have you ever heard of a book called the "Black Swan"? - bit tangental sorry.. Here's something else to think about - from an enviromental perspective what is the point of shipping millions of pieces of plastic arround
