@GrovyleXShinyCelebi The closest to your last remark was Valve, trying to copyright their physics engine. You can't own the laws of nature. Every physics engine is going to compute the exact same thing. Was a really bad case.

@GrovyleXShinyCelebi so if copyright laws expell religion from the world.. whats so bad about copyright laws? hahaha....
-
So true.

@GrovyleXShinyCelebi "one day someone is going to copyright god/the bible and kill off all religion" Well, at least there would be one major benefit from that side of man's greed. Ironically it will probably take something that silly to bring about an end to one of the most destructive aspects of human nature the past 15,000 years or so.

Wise words. I wish all creative artists would realize Mr.Moore's right with his wise conclusions.

Mr. Moore can easily choose to release his video under a license which allows noncommercial sharing, via a Creative Commons license. As he says, he is doing well financially and his concern is more along the line of getting the content out. Other creators are not doing so well financially, and can choose to release their video without such a noncommercial license if that is what they prefer. Big world, lots of choices.

HE said iy all at teh very beginng .. Its not a crime when You dl movies and games until YOu dont make a profit from it. SImple.

Need to be a fucking important guy to explain this fucking morons from ACTA, FBI, SOPA and PIPA.
Fuck This!

+10 respect to him.
I do agree with him, today's copyright laws are just the result of greedy corporations trying to get greedier. If any copyrights exist they should only protect corporations against SERIOUS damage, otherwise they should have to put up with people who are using their content without permission. Besides, people want to own EVERYTHING, even IDEAS, isn't there a limit? (one day I swear someone's going to copyright God/the Bible and kill off all religion)
