As recorded on 07-25-09, CopWatch ran into this tense situation with a few citizens. I don't know who was in the right. This video is posted as an unbiased report of what happened.

This is a re-post based on some audio edits I needed to make.

  • i would love to do the stop resisting routine to a cop. wet dream

  • @DeputySheriff330 You're saying all members of the press and cameramen are deadbeats? Or only the ones who record what you don't like? Are the cameramen on the show "Cops" deadbeats? Of course not, because they show cops in a positive light right?

  • Why do you think your rights are so much more important than someone else's? You claim you aren't filming a person who can't tell if you did or didn't. I wouldn't take your word for it. So just stop.

  • There was nothing --- NOTHING-- wrong with the 'filming' of anyone/everyone 'in the public.' However, the film (at least out of respect) should be edited to 'blur' her face when posting. If it was a 'two-party' state, she had the right to refuse; however, her friend also has a right to have it filmed. One person refusing consent DOES NOT trump the other person giving consent. There was a ruling by the USSC. back in early 2000-2001 (not sure of exact yr) stating as such. Stay back & respect

  • @CMLaneLV OK maybe not security guards -- but people do take bouncer seriously.. because unlike security guards bouncers will use force to removed you.

So if a drunk idiot refused to leave ( or take bouncer seriously) they get phyically removed..

Bouncer are alot more "hands" on than police --

  • @badpanda84 Lol who takes security guards seriously?

  • lets sort this shit out rise up against it in any way u can and lets do it fast before its too late

  • SOOOOOO glad this is what my tax money goes towards...

  • @DeputySheriff330 I agree with the competent and responsible, and would even add that they should be trained. Most LEO's respond the same way you did - saying that they respect the constitutional rights, but usually always add the caveat that basically means "just as long as you don't do it around me". Most LEO's will demand ID from gun carriers and/or follow them around. This is just my experience - not saying it's you.

  • @1775novten I dont mind people excersising their constitutional rights as long as they are competent and responsible people and following all the laws reguarding firearms. s If someone is on my scene with a firearm on them I will secure that weapon until my departure from the scene. Otherwise im all for it !

  • @DeputySheriff330 What is your personal opinion about armed citizens walking around, whether it is open carry or concealed? Are you threaten by citizens armed with guns, or do you see them as an extension of "policing" the community?

  • @1775novten Could you be more specific ? Thanks
