Thank you, ToastMusic! I'm glad to have a version that you like (and to have been a part of that version). We take pride in our WJHS Choir Department. :) Ah, those were the good old days. That passage you mentioned is one of my favorite parts of this particular song-- not only musically (that's pretty much the climax and it's just so powerful) but religiously  as well (He won't have to "die no more," of course, but neither will we).

I totally remember singing this in either middle school or for honor choir. I love it I miss choir. I miss DeHaan his class was so fun! GO CLASS OF 2008!

You guys, this is so good! I've been dying to hear any recorded version of this song for the longest time, and so I searched the term "cross cry" and I'm very satisfied with your version. I particularly like your line "Won't have to die no more!" --there are some particularly good tenor voices in that passage
