This is a quick mod I came up with about three years ago (in late 2005 or early 2006). I figure I should prove it happened with a video. The mod itself was simply a large collection of mods made by other people. I just got them all working for the Xbox version. Oh, and I did make a quick house/weapon mod for myself, but it wasn't anything amazing, just a huge cheat mod.

You can download my house mod at http://www.fantasyjam.net/morrowind

Background music (not actually used in the game, mind you) is from http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/157064

This mod pack used videos I made in Macromedia Flash 5.

  • The newer games *are* more advanced, and you can get mods for all of them. I modded Morrowind myself. I also modded Oblivion, and I started modding Fallout 3, but I gave up on that due to lack of interest. I think my favorite of all the Bethesda games (on Windows, anyway) is Oblivion. It has great graphics and lots of character customization right out-of-the-box. I can't find any mod for Morrowind that gives you Oblivion's facial features.

  • I find it sad how you call the more recent games "more advanced". Have you ever tried mods?

  • It's not sad. I still have the game, and I have bought it many times over. I supported the game when it was new, and I continued playing it for years. Now, I play the more advanced Bethesda games, because I enjoy them more. I'm enjoying the Shivering Isles expansion right now, first time I ever played it. It really adds some much needed humor to the game.

  • Sad thing that. :(

  • I don't even play Morrowind any more, not on Xbox or PC; I play Oblivion or Fallout 3.

  • Go check out my thread on the BGS to see how it's done. You should make an animated menu as well.

  • So do I. The animations have nothing to do with Morrowind, though. LOL!

  • It's also possible with a hacked original exe, but that's *not* Morrowind, it's a hacked version. I believe you could hex edit the exe to allow it.

  • Haha, awesome! Like how it repeats

  • It is possible on the PC version with MGE.
