Legendary Factory Records Designer Peter Saville has set the brief for young artists (aged 25 and under) to submit designs to front NOISE festival's European promotional campaign in September 2008 and distributed across the UK and Europe before and during NOISE Festival 2008.
The project is supported by Computer Arts Magazine and Adobe who will be selecting the top entries along with Peter Saville.
Computer Arts Magazine will feature the top entries during the autumn, and Adobe will be giving away their latest software as prizes to the winning artists.

I think the main challenge for people around fifty is actually to stay in touch with youth. Everything is about youth as if we were not living in an ageing society. For people like Peter Saville the challenge will be to attract people with an attention span of 5 seconds and an almost complete focus on the digital world. Looking at the great art he produced I feel a bit sorry for him, although waste paintings are a great comment on online art. Something he already saw in 2000.
