  • Thanks. I´m a german journalist and i will write an article about elephant shrews (only Rhynchocyon). You can read about it, but nothing is more fascinating than pictures of the living animal.

  • what a cute little B@st*ard! anyone noticed... that the creatures before are big and through time and adaptation they evolve into a smaller physical state...

  • @Dondragmer, thanks for correcting me on this. I hope to see this one too, and take a picture with my own camera. It will be cool, because I am planning to go there soon, by the grace of GOD.

  • @Davidsailen It is "new." It's a newly discovered species. You are referring to previously known species of elephant shrews you saw before.

  • Cool

  • Beautiful image. I have seen before about 15 years ago. It is an old critter, not new. Just because you just saw it, it does not mean it has to be new.

  • whoa!! never try to set your ass pubes on fire!!!! IT HURTS LIKE HELL!!!!!!!

  • Hey stupid, might not be able to afford more than that.

  • aparently hotshot researchers dont know how to upload high quality? cant figure out all the buttons and numbers huh guys? heres a tip next time you go out into the jungle and spend weeks hunting down some big rat bring something more substantial than a logitech web cam with no mic

  • Shrews are wonderful, even though elephant shrews or tree shrews aren't true shrews, they are "true shrews" as I define it. The most under-rated mammal species by far, thanks for this clip it is fascinating.
