awesome. i just upgrades my trex 450 to i 3500 kv motor with a 13t pinion vs a ten tooth pinion. bigger than my old motor but im not sure what my old motor was. faster head speed . and I'm only using and a 11t so far. i just ordered cf blades 2day.

If you're mostly sport flying and doing a few loops or hovering inverted, 2800-2900 rpm is fine. But if you're changing directions fast from positive to negative collective and back then I'd say 3100-3200. Some guys go 3500.
