never let you go || part 11 (Taylena/Lolena)

"Leah?! Sophie?! Are you still in there?!" That was HIM. Alex.
"Yes! We're here! Just a moment, we're coming!", Leah shouted. We stood up and I said:" I'll tell you the rest after school, okay?" Leah nodded. And then we walked out of the restroom. Then, the bell saved us from an awkward conversation. I gave him a weak smile and waved at Leah. I turned on my heels and walked to my class

After my last period ended, I walked to Leah's locker and waited. When she finally walked around the corner and came up to me, I opened my mouth to say something. But --SURPRISE- Alex came right after her. She looked at me and mouthed ´Sorry´. I sighed and started to walk away.

Alex trailed after me, grabbed my wrist and spun me around. I shivered from his touch but I didn't look at him. "Sophie. Is everything okay?", he asked me. 'Is everything okay? Where is his brain?'
"Yes, everything is perfectly fine", I answered a little sarcastically.
Alex: "Are you sure?"
'Are you deaf?'
Sophie: "Yeah, I am ... Can you please let go of me, now?"

He looked at his hand, still holding onto mine and, let go. His brown eyes gazed into mine, but I forced myself to turn on my heels and walk out of the building. The cool breeze crashed onto my face. I inhaled deeply and walked home.

A few hours later

I grabbed my Ipod and a few books and headed out the door to the library. When I got there, I opened the big door and walked in. The old lady greeted me with a smile and I gave my books back to her. Then I walked over to the shelves.
I didn't look for something special. Just something that kept me from thinking about today. Suddenly, a book fell out from the self and landed right next to my left foot. I kneeled down and picked it up. The cover was pitch black with a red headline: 'All you need to know about the creatures oft he night (Sorry. I know the title is soooo lame).'
I looked around and saw a small couch. I walked over to it and sat down. I took the book and opened it.

The first thing that caught my eye, was the word 'witch'. I flipped through the pages. There it was. Chapter 4 'witches'. 'hell', 'devil', 'black cats', 'mirrors', 'salt', 'witch hunting', 'witch crafts', were the words which caught my eyes. Then I turned over to the next page.
Chapter 5 (guess what?) 'Vampires'. Somehow, I didn't feel good at that moment. I bit my bottom lip, but kept on reading. 'sunlight', 'coffin', 'never die', 'live forever'. I shivered at the last word 'blood thirst'.
Suddenly I saw feet standing right infront of me. I looked up to see the librarian. She smiled at me and said:" It's already 8 pm. Would you be so kind and give me the book, so I can close the library?"
I smiled, closed the book and gave it to her. Then I stood up and walked out oft he library.

It was already really dark outside. The sky was black. Just a few stars were shining, but there was no moon. I gulped. This will be interesting. I took the earphones of my Ipod and put them in my ears. I walked along the sidewalk and every 10 meters, I passed a lantern. After 15 minutes of listening to Jason Derulos' 'ridin' solo', suddenly the music stopped. I stopped walking and pulled my Ipod out of my pocket. The display was black. I frowned. Then I pulled the earphones out and put the Ipod in my pocket again.

When I looked back up, I screamed.
