The reason that Joaquin Phoenix, John Travolta, Robert Patrick visited our station is a reason that starts back in 2001. The Lewisville Fire Department raised over 200,000 dollars for the families who lost loved ones in the 911 tragedy. John Travolta found out about it and visited with the department. A few years later when they were promoting Ladder 49 in the DFW area he wanted to stop back by to visit with the firemen and bring the co-stars with him.
