SEE THIS SHOW LIVE AT "FESTIVAL OF NATIONS" DOLLYWOOD THIS SPRING! It is one of many shows for this great event. "DRUM" represents the musical heartbeat of Nova Scotia and of all of Canada. It is a spectacular musical production featuring musicians, dancers, drummers, and singers from four principal cultures Aboriginal, Black, Celtic and Acadian brought together in a heart-pumping fusion of music, dance, poetry, video, rhythm, and song. These are some of the words from the Drum Websight that clearly tell what it is all about!
This will run at Dollywood through the Festival of the Nations event.
Award winning DRUM! was conceived of and created by Brookes Diamond, originally directed and choreographed by Tim French and is currently directed by Daryl Cloran.
You can order your own copy of the full show from Drums web sight. http://www.drumshow.ca/
I had the extreme pleasure of seeing the show a couple of months back.....wow..if you get an opportunity to see it, you will NOT regret it...fantastic show of music and dance...absolutely amazing and top-notch...had also the pleasure of talking with the bass player after the show who seems to be quite the prog-rock enthusiast as I am...he uses the Chapman Stick (9 string bass)..same as Mr. Tony Levin

We were there on the 28th. We just missed Dolly by one day. I wish I knew you were at the park this weekend, I would have loved to meet you and thank you for these awesome uploads. Who would think that a mixture between Native American drums, African drums, black gospel, bagpipes, Celtic singing, riverdance, and spoons would mesh together so perfectly.

This is one of those videos a person may not can fully appreciate unless he has also seen it in person. I was at Dollywood March 26-29 and saw this show 3-4 times. It's great.
