All you people calling this a 12 string are idiots... listen to it. It is obviously on strung like a 6 string. If that doesn't convince you than look at the head of it... only 6 strings are strung.

So victorbilbo, these guys giving you advice on how to play the song and telling you you should try it with a 6 string are obviously not worth your time.

yeah, in any case it's a Guild, so it's a pretty sweet guitar. I've just bought a massivley expensive Taylor 12 string. Typical - I went into the shop prepared to spend like $500 and ended up spending much much more. Still, I take possession in two weeks and Im totally psyched.

There are two possible explanations for that: first, that he likes the extra neck width (I'm putting my money on this one); second, that's he's so poor he can't afford a six string so he's stuck playing the 12-string he bought in a flea market a few years back.

elmaterino, I think that is a six string. I know it's a 12-string guitar but it looks and sounds like it's only been strung with six.

good picking, but try the bend instead of the pull-off, and try to do it on a 6 string first - then once you really got it go for the 12....also keep in mind the steamtrain rythm (CHUGA chuga CHUGA chuga............) all around good job though -

Pretty good job man, this is a bitch of a song already... let alone on a 12 string. I play fingerstyle and am pretty bad with a pick, but I've been trying some Doc Watson/Kottke stuff. Great music.
